Our Experience in The North Shore & Duluth
Tyler and I both grew up in Grand Rapids, just about 1.5 hours from Duluth and we’ve spent a lot of our free time in the Duluth area. Growing up, whenever we had a free day, my family and I (Kassidy) would make the drive to Duluth, Silver Bay, or Grand Marais to spend the day out.
The North Shore has become our favorite place in all of Minnesota, and we spend at least 1 weekend there every month.
Tyler and I have hiked hundreds of miles along the shoreline (we love White Sky Rock), eaten at dozens of restaurants (The Fisherman’s Daughter is our favorite), and stayed in plenty of campgrounds.
This area of Minnesota truly has it all, from plenty of outdoor spaces to quaint towns and great food.
We recommend packing a bag and staying for the weekend, because there are endless possibilities for the North Shore and Duluth.
